Hi, I’m Jamie Vasilyan, an ADHD HypnoCoach who works with neurodivergent professionals who look like they’re coping — but know how much effort it takes to keep everything together.

Many of my clients are intelligent, capable, and full of potential, yet feel stuck in cycles of overwhelm, procrastination, emotional swings, and imposter syndrome.

I’m a certified ADHD Coach and I’m also AuDHD myself, so I understand this from the inside out.

Coaching can be powerful, but for many people it doesn’t go far enough. That’s why I combine ADHD coaching with somatic therapy and hypnosis to help regulate the nervous system and calm the emotional noise that keeps you stuck.

What if I’ve never been to coaching or therapy before?

It's completely okay if you've never experienced Hypnotherapy or Coaching before. Many people start without knowing what to expect. My job is to guide you through the process, help you feel comfortable, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer secure, confidential online therapy so you can meet from the comfort of your own space — no commute, no hassle. Many clients find this just as effective as meeting in person.

How long will this process take?

It depends on what you’d like to work on and the kind of change you’re aiming for. Some people come with a specific issue they want to resolve, while others are looking for deeper, more ongoing support. There’s no one‑size‑fits‑all timeline — and this is part of the reason for our first meeting, where I assess your goals and give you a realistic sense of timeframes.

For ADHD‑related work, I’ve found that most clients fall into one of two groups:

  • Around 6 sessions — typically suited to the ADHD Performance Reboot Protocol, ideal for those who generally function well but need help getting back into momentum.

  • Around 12 sessions — suited to the ADHD Unshakeable: Focus & Regulation Program, for those who need deeper support with emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, or more complex patterns.

This will be assessed during our initial call, and I will let you know:

"we start with a plan of x sessions. If that’s all we need, fantastic. If there’s value in more, of course that’s an option. My goal is to give you the most effective process in the most efficient use of your time."

The aim isn’t to stay in therapy longer than necessary — it’s to help you experience meaningful, sustainable change as efficiently and gently as possible.

What if I cannot be hypnotised?

It’s very common to worry about this — especially if you have ADHD or feel your mind is “too busy.” The truth is that people experience hypnosis in different ways, and effective hypnotherapy is not about forcing you into a particular state. It’s about adapting the approach to how your mind works.

Before we begin, you’ll complete a short questionnaire that helps me understand your natural “hypnotic style.” From there, hypnosis is tailored specifically to you. My role is to meet you where you are and work in a way that feels comfortable, safe, and effective.

In my experience, almost everyone can engage with hypnosis in some form. I’ve worked successfully with people of all ages — including children as young as seven — and with many clients who have ADHD, whether medicated or not. You don’t need to “switch your mind off” or do anything special. You simply need to show up — the process does the rest.

What if I do not want to be hypnotised? Can I still work with you?

Hypnotherapy is consensual and works when you agree to experience it. We can discuss any concerns you may have about hypnosis to reassure you that it is safe and effective. However, if for some reason you choose not to experience its benefits, that's absolutely fine - we can work together using ADHD Coaching, Solution Focused Therapy, and Somatic relaxation/regulation techniques, and still help you make progress. It's up to you.

Do I need to have a diagnosis to work with you?

No — a formal diagnosis is not required. Many of my clients do have an ADHD or autism diagnosis, but many are self-identified, awaiting assessment, or simply recognise that their challenges strongly align with neurodivergent traits.

What matters most is not a label, but whether the patterns we work with resonate for you. As an ADHD HypnoCoach and therapist, my role isn’t to diagnose or treat ADHD itself. My role is to help you understand how your brain is wired, regulate your nervous system, and make meaningful changes that support the life you want to live.

Do I need to take medication for this to be effective?

The short answer is no — ADHD HypnoCoaching can be effective whether or not you take medication. I’ve worked with clients (including children and adults) who have made meaningful progress without being medicated.

That said, the more accurate answer is it depends. If you are already prescribed medication, some people find it helpful to take it before sessions to support focus and engagement. Others experience strong results without medication at all. There are also clients who don’t take medication for personal or medical reasons and still benefit greatly from this work.

This is a holistic, individual process. We take into account your nervous system, your goals, and what support — if any — works best for you. We can explore this together during your free strategy call and adjust as needed throughout our time working together.

What if I’ve tried coaching, hypnotherapy, or CBT before, and it didn’t work for me?

This is not uncommon — especially for neurodivergent adults who’ve spent years trying to “fix” themselves through insight, effort, or willpower alone. Often, previous approaches didn’t fully take into account how your nervous system works, how much masking you’ve been doing, or how deeply ingrained certain patterns are at a subconscious level.

My work combines ADHD-informed coaching with somatic and hypnotic approaches, which means we’re not just talking about change — we’re working directly with the emotional and neurological patterns that drive it. For many clients, this is what finally makes things click when other methods haven’t.

If something hasn’t worked for you before, it doesn’t mean you’re resistant or broken. It usually means the approach wasn’t the right fit. We can explore this together during your free strategy call and see whether this way of working feels more aligned for you.

Is everything we talk about confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is kept private and confidential. The only exceptions are rare situations required by law — such as if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if a child, elder, or dependent adult is being abused. I’ll always explain these limits clearly so you understand exactly how your information is protected.
